An ode to Womanhood

As women's day is round the corner, I salute the spirit of womanhood in all the people I have met in my life , be it men or women. Yes, you read it right women hood is not a gender quality it is

something more than that. Womanhood is more of womanly spirit that we see in nature around us, we call nature as mother nature mainly because of the womanly qualities it has of caring, loving and providing us with everything we need without expecting much in return

.How many people we meet around have this quality irrespective of the gender .we have seen our father or rather any male member of the family possessing this quality or any male counterparts

.On the other side we might meet many woman who do not possess any such quality they are

rather aggressive, unemphthatic more of takers than givers what ever be the reason behind this behavior. Womanhood is more of the qualities of provider, nurturer, a lover , a mother . which is the essence of a woman , unfortunately we are misunderstanding the essence and we are becoming more of takers than givers, selfish than selfless, self obsessed than caring and in all this we are not only losing the spirit of womanhood but we are becoming what we are not destined to be. By all means being carrer oriented ,self loving , keeping oneself on priority should not make us a person deprived of womanhood .It is a quality which every body should possess irrespective of the gender ,age, or region they belong to .

Because it not only brings us closer to our real self but also makes us more human.And we don't have to make any extra effort to embrace the woman hood in us we already have these qualities in us .
